Youth In America

African Youth, more than any other sub group of Americans face disparity of equality.   Is this a perception or a reality?   It must be identified what the root cause is that sustains disparity of education, justice, employment and equal opportunities for African youth.  

In order to examine the social equality and social inequalities of American youth, I will conduct research and show statistics to identify differences of mainstream youth and African youth.  

We need to address these issues within our communities, instead of synthesizing the truth and keeping prevailing in our youth’s life.   We need to boost our awareness of the true problems that exist.   The first step to solving problems is to know what the problems are, second is acceptance of the problem exist.

As people we must begin to develop strategic plans to begin solving the issues that face our youth.

The scope of this presentation will limit to the fundamentals of education lack of high school diploma’s, poverty, single-parent homes, and unemployment.   I will show how all these issues facing black youth are tied into one another. This will be a generalized approach to touch on a few underlying issues to increase integration of our youth to mainstream society.  

We care about African youth because their stability and access to opportunity effects the future generations of our culture.   It is the responsibility of the previous generation to make decision and improvements to uplift our culture and increase opportunities for each other.

It is not widely recognized that African youth differ from American mainstream in areas of social welfare.  

The problem is the total disparity of equality; therefore I will address education, poverty and employment.

We need a rescue package plan for our African youth.
