There shouldn't be year round schooling in any school anywhere in the United States.   There are many reason whyt ehre shouldn't be year round schooling and then there are some reasons one would think that year round schooling is the way to go.
One reason why there shouldn't be year round schooling is because parents that have nmore than one child will have to deal with them possible going to school at two different times.   This is a bad thing because in most households both of the parents work throughout the day and if you have a young kid, you don't want to have them sitting alone at home with no parents.   Also from the kids perspective it wouldn't be good for them to go at different times and one kid might not see his parents for a whole day.
Another reason there shouldn't be yea round schooling is because most families take their family trips during the summer.   It is important for these vacations to take place because this is when most families bond and get to spend a lot of time together.   Also because all kids need some sort of vacation with the family and if there is year round schooling there wont be that designated time for families to take their vacations and spend a lot of time together.
In addition, there shouldn't be year round schooling because the kids will feel they have a lot less time off then they did when they had a normal school schedule.   This could cause many problemts for both the children and the parents.   First, for th children, they need a lot of time off at once so they can rest their brains and with the school schedule now it is perfect because they have around three months durgin the summer to rest their brains.   From the parents side, they need to spend some time with the children and not always have to worry about their kids grades and their homework.
One might say that year round schooling is a great thing.   They would probably say this because they are either a teacher or have some connection to the teaching world.   One...
