English 9 5/23/09 Research report. Causes of World War II. World War II had many causes to it’ s beginning.These causes were not only infamous but historical as to why the deadliest war in multi-national history happened. From several violations from Germany regarding the Treaty of Versailles, and the second Sino- Japanese War, along with problems of the League of Nations, which caused the single most deadly encounter, World War II. One reason as to how the war began is how Adolf Hitler violated the Treaty of Versailles. Examples is how hitler refused for Germany to accpet the blame for causing World War One, increased Germany’ s army, by introducing compulsory military conscription in Germany and rebuilding the armed forces. This included a new navy, Kriegsmarine, and the first full armoured divisions which included Panzerwaffe, and an Air Force, Lutwaffe. Another example, is how Nazi Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, and opposed to have land taken away and given to others by taking the land back by having German troops enter into Austria. The Austrian leader was forced to have a vote on wether or not the people wanted to be a part of Germany, the results showed that 99% of people wanted to be apart of Germany which is another word for Anschluss in German. Hitler violated the treaty because he wanted to spread his expansion to other countries, which included his Nazi beliefs, as well as the execution of Jews, and to have possibly, worldwide totalitarian control. There were many reasons as to how the Second World War began, one of them is the start of the Second Sino- Japanese War. This war began when Japan attacked deep into China from its foothold in Manchucko. The invasion was launched by the bombing of many cities such as Shanghai, Nanjing and Guangzhou.
