Introduction
When the thought of managing behaviors come to mind, It makes one think of psychology and the science behind it. Psychology, is the science which studies the concepts of behavior and mental processes of an individual ( Reeve,J 2001). An individuals behavior stems from the thoughts of the brain, and the brain operates like a computer. The brain controls many functions of the human body, everything from walking, talking, and facial expressions. It basically controls everything that we do, say and think. Just like a computer, our brain compiles data throughout your life and with much memory, take place in the mental process of the brain that gather all the data which was learned. This is the primary reason why psychologist try try to analyze the influences that are contributed from behavior. When it comes to studying the relationship in comparing and contrasting the influence of heredity and hormones in humans, there are many ways that this can be studied. This study is determined by the relationships associated with the patterns of genes rather than the various types of behaviors. This is referred to as behavior genetics, and it is the study of an individuals behavior and the influences that are carried with that behavior. This paper will discuss different theories and how they can be applied to the workplace.
There are many different theories and theorist out there that have made some major contribution to the study of behavior like Freud, Jung, and Rogers. Freud contributed when he made the suggestion of gender was developed through a person childhood. In that development of childhood many forms take place in the psycho sexual formality ( Reeves, J.2001). Then Jung made his contribution when the discovery of psychoanalytic theory was discovered.
