My purpose and goals in attending college is to make something out of my life. No one wants to be a nobody, but sometimes it takes time in order for one to realize this. Upon graduation from high school I had no clue and was dumbfounded in what I was going to do after high school. After thinking this over and over again I started questioning myself why should I attend school? So while thinking this particular question,I came up with three reason why I should attend college. These reasons are; to have greater knowledge in my career field, a greater potential in attaining my goal, and attain more money. So with these three reasons it caused me to Enroll in Lawson State Community College. Lawson State will increase my ability to understand development in today's society, think abstractly and critically express thoughts clearly in speech and in writing. It also encourages me in making wise decisions and learn how to think critically and analyze information. A college graduate will have a greater potential of helping the community, nation, and the world by exploring different interest, discovering new things that's others may not. A college graduate will attain more money than a person who does not have a college degree. A person with a college degree down the line with have a better job career and will be making six figures in a big company, rather than those who do not have a college degree who sit and flip burgers.
