What people may have come to America before Columbus?
In researching for people who may have arrived in the Americas prior to Columbus I found these three groups of people. They were the Tania, Guineas, and the Islamic Muslims all have archeological evidence to substantiate the fact that they possibly could have arrived in the Americas prior to Columbus.
In reference to the Tanio, I found that archeologists have unearthed two separate sites with artifacts of their existence. One such site known as Los Buchillones which is located on the northern coast of Cuba and another site known as La Aleta which is located in the Dominican Republic. The absence of an abundance of artifacts from this group of people can be attributed to the fact that they made their buildings and their craft work primarily from wood which has disintegrated over the centuries.
Through continued research I also discovered that the Guineas from West Africa were participating in trade with the Native Americans prior to the arrival of Columbus. The evidence to substantiate their existence during this time period was discovered by several different people. One of those people was Polish professor Andrzej Wiercinski. He discovered African skulls at Olmec sites in Tlatico, Cerro de las Meseas and Monte Alban. Furthermore, very ancient African skulls have been unearthed in California, Mexico, Central and South America. The best evidence of their existence came from Columbus himself. In his journal of the Second Voyage, Columbus reported that when he reached Haiti the native Americans told him that black-skinned people had come from the south and southeast in boats, trading in gold-tipped metal spears.
The final group of people I came across through my research was the Islamic Muslims. During the twentieth century research was conducted in the west through that research they discovered evidence that the Muslims existed on the American mainland approximately seven centuries prior to the
