Review Ch. 10 and 11 of your text, then complete the following:

Provide at least three freshwater and three ocean water resource challenges by filling in the following table. Then, respond to the question that follows:

|Freshwater Resource Challenge |Description |
|Saltwater Intrusion |Water from the sea flows through into freshwater aquifers, |
| |most of the salt soaks into the soil, however the more that |
| |flows through the more salt that gets stuck and eventually |
| |will become a bigger problem. |
|Global warming |The more global warming proceeds the more the rainfall will |
| |occur and then this will lead up to more frequent runoffs |
| |which will overflow sewer systems which can lead to septic |
| |contamination. |
|Higher water temperatures |With higher water temperatures there is a bigger chance that|
| |it will change the aqua ecosystems by changing the aquatic |
| |food web which can reduce the amount of dissolved oxygen in |
| |the water. |
