Any substance that does not belong in the natural system and disrupts the natural balance Water Pollution
Degradation of water quality in a manner that disrupts/prevents its intended or original use.

The highest concentration of a pollutant allowed in drinking water by law
Concentration above which adverse health affects are believed to occur

However, people seem to believe that our water supply is endless since there is more water than land on this Earth. Water regenerates and is redistributed through evaporation, making it seem endlessly renewable. So why worry?Actually, only one percent of the world 's water has the capability of being used by us. About ninety-seven percent is salty seawater, and two percent is frozen in glaciers and polar ice caps. Since the plants and animals we eat also depend on water, lack of it could cause both dehydration and starvation.     The main stakeholders for Coca-Cola and Nestle would be the parties that would be mostly affected and at stake if the plant was to close down in the case of the passing of the law of closure due to negative effects on the environment. Firstly, the employees of the company and their families would be the most at stake, as they would lose their source of income. And in the case of Coca-Cola it might be that most of the village of Palchimada is working at that plant, hence this would affect the whole social environment in the village.
