Abstract
Today’s business economy is highly competitive and many companies operate globally to gain a competitive edge. There are numerous challenges and opportunities operating in a global market and each requires consideration of culture, technology, and trends. This paper ranks for current project management topics and discusses the basis of those rankings. Project Manager’s (PM’s) who consider and understand global challenges and implement strategies to overcome those challenges increase their potential for successful projects.

There are numerous challenges and opportunities operating in a global market and each challenge and opportunity requires consideration of culture, technology, and trends. Operating globally also influences the management of projects. Team A analyzed several topics related to global and domestic project management and came to consensus about the topics order of importance. This paper identifies Team A’s ranking for current project management topics and provides specific information for the basis of those rankings.
