Introduction
Competitive markets are continuously in flux present consumers and producers with a range of choices. Whether seeking to develop emerging markets, attract new customers, or retain existing ones, a deep understanding of the economic issues at hand is crucial for business planning. Using sophisticated survey research and econometric choice models are useful. Simply keeping up with the competition will no longer provide the results needed to secure a place in any industry. The marketplace is so unstable that a company that seems to be flourishing one day can fold in a short period of time. Management must stay abreast of any technological advances and new services in order to remain competitive. USA World Bank (UWB) is a successful international bank with a large consumer and small business base clientele. In order to continue to expand its market share, USA World Bank rolls out a new product annually. Over the past few years the new products have not been very successful causing a number of its customers to examine the possibility of changing banking institutions. Brian Allen, President of New Product Development for USA Word Bank, has stated, “Our new products have pretty much tanked in the past couple of years. We are under a lot of pressure to deliver something that will be profitable and increase market share” (University of Phoenix, 2008). USA World Bank has to the review the proposed product offering, and based on statistical analysis; decide which one will be most beneficial to the organization. In this paper the author will propose an optimum solution for UWB by discussing the issues, the end goals, the alternative solutions, the risk assessment, the optimal solution and the implementation plan
