Man, my graduation party was fun. Everyone was there that afternoon of a Saturday. All my aunt and uncles, grandparents, cousins and all my close friends were there. It was around 2:30 and I had a couple of beers with my family. I soon stopped after about the fourth one around four o'clock. Then when eleven o'clock came around it was time to go out and see all my friends. I didn't that for the first time in my life that I was going two be pulled over, given a sobriety test, and was going to be arrested.
My cousin and I left my house and were going to a friend's house until I ran a red blinking light. Suddenly there was flashing light and a spot light on me. I replied that I had not and he asked me to step out of the truck. We went to the front of the police car in the head lights. Then I could tell that I had been pulled over by a very young cop. The officer told that if I told the truth that it would be all over and that we could both go on with our business. He asked me again if I had consumed any alcohol that night. This has to be a rookie cop I thought just my luck.
I told the truth like any good and scared kid would have done. I told him that I had a graduation party that day and that I consumed about four beers during that afternoon around three o'clock. It was midnight when the rookie police office gave me a sobriety test regardless weather I was telling the truth or not. I was seventeen and had confused to drinking. That was all he needed. He then cuffed me and put me in his car. My cousin was given one and she was to drive my truck home. I asked him how I failed the test and he replied that I didn't and that he had two clues. Yea, two made up clues that my eyes were red and he could smell it on me.
