This Is My Life

Hello,
My name is Emily Buhman. I live in Lawson, MO. It’s a pretty small town. I live with my fiancée, my one year old daughter and his parents (for now!)We have an apartment but they aren’t done working on it and when I talked to them last week they said they should be finished with it this weekend. We live upstairs and rent. It’s a large house and they didn’t need the room so they invited us to stay here.
My goals are to become a teacher later in life. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I knew that one day I would be able to make it happen. I don’t think there has ever been anyone in my family that has ever made it all the way through school and I want to change that tradition.
My reason for being in school is so I will be able to teach and teach younger kids the subjects and knowledge they need to get through their middle school, high school years, and later on in their lives. I also just love to be around kids. I used to offer to babysit people’s kids without pay. This last summer before my senior year, I had my baby girl and I had to start actually going back to school instead of doing homeschooling and it was so hard to leave but I always knew I would be coming back.
I chose to do an online program because we don’t have the money to pay for a babysitter and for when I get a job I will be able to do my assignments before or after I get home from work when I get home from my job whenever I can find one.
I enjoy going horseback riding, fishing, swimming, riding 4-wheelers, babysitting (yea, it’s weird, especially my niece and nephew), and spending time with my family. I’ve always wanted to go bungee jumping but I can’t find anyone to do it with me.
Well, that’s me. If you have any questions just let me know. I’m usually a good problem solver but not always. I am an easy person to talk to most of the time as well. So, if anyone ever needs someone to talk to just let me know.
