1. Describe the church as a radial transcendent reality and a historical reality.

As a radical transcendent reality immanent in the realities of the world, the church acts upon the world. And, therefore, we can truly talk of the History of the Church. In the Church as a historical reality, we witness its moments of glory and shame as it struggles to be faithful to the three-fold mission of priest, prophet and king bequeathed to it by its risen Lord and empowered by its spirit to undertake.

The Church participates in the present problem of the community; it reaches its arms to help and to spread the Good News of the Lord.

2. Compare St. Paul and St. Peter

Saint Paul is the Great Apostle to the Gentiles, and Saint Peter, the Rock, on whom Jesus built his Church.

Between the two, I am more in favor with Saint Peter; it is because he became the runner or the one to lead the Church.

3. What happened in the first Ecumenical Council of Jerusalem which Peter Preceded?

The conflict between Peter and Paul, that the Gentiles should be circumcised and accept the Law of Moses before being accepted into the Christian community, is solved.

This event made me conclude that there is always a solution in every problem.

4. Discuss “inculturation”

Inculturation calls for respect for the Local Cultural tradition and beliefs of various communities when they are brought face-to-face with the message of the Gospel.

The inculturation gives a guideline to the widespread respect for other beliefs.

5. How did open persecution begin in Rome in 65 C.E.?

In 65 C.E. Rome began its open persecution of the Church, beginning with Emperor Nero’s false accusation that the Christians had been responsible in the burning of Rome.

Power really sets the mind; it encourages wrong actions so that power could remain in its owner.
