1.0 Competition: Introduction:
All companies survive in an external environment that influences their working. The external environment is the foundation of resources essential for existence. On the other hand, as the competitive dynamics in a business change, companies working in that business have to alter the method they compete for required resources. This alteration in operations is necessary for the sustained attainment of key resources. In other words, as the market place revolutionize, companies should modify their approach in order to stay alive and get competitive advantage. Vigilant environmental judgment is significant for successful organizational performance. To be successful, health care companies should have an understanding of the external environment in which they work. To sustain competitive advantage they have to be capable to foresee and react to the important changes that take place inside their environment. Successful strategic management has to aim towards positioning the company most successfully in its changing environment. In the 1960s and 1970s, competition was between organizations. In that era organizations have a tendency to put together majority of their workings and bring together their products themselves. In the 1980s and1990s organizations out-sourced a bigger part of their mechanism and assemblies, and became extensive organizations. Competition was among supply chains and supply chain management became a main organizational skill. In the 2000s, as competition turn into truly worldwide, the competitiveness of industry in any area of the globe will depend greatly on the whole company infrastructure, which will attract organizations to and keep them in any area of the earth. Competition will be among group of interconnected association that add and create value through collaboration.
