SO Strategy: Reward frequent purchasing bonus for customers that make frequent purchases periodically over the course of 6 months to a year. By keeping track of their purchases by a punch card or electronically by a bonus card will increase Scents & Things initial customer base and may be an opportunity to acquire more.
WO Strategy: Advertising thru the radio, TV advertisements, flyers, etc., can increase the businesses reputation. The only drawback here is that over saturating the market can backfire and become a weakness if no one recognizes the store or brand name.
ST Strategy: Reward staff members in a way that will motivate & increase their creativity in suggesting different products or services to customers. This can improve the stores product and services recognition over the competition and will help in maintaining repeat customers.
WT Strategy: Scents & Things needs to minimize costs in other areas of company so that Scents & Things have the ability to increase the marketing budget.
Strategy Implementation: (ST)
Rewards and bonuses will be a positive way to motivate employees to be more creativity in offering new services or products to customers. This can also be a positive way to reward customer who make frequent purchases at the store. The managers need to create an atmosphere in the store with the employees that have the ability to change the culture in the workplace. By creating this type of atmosphere it will in a sense make the employees knowledgeable that the store has competitors and how those competitors threaten Scents & Things. The cultural changes in the workplace need to be based upon the market trends and the needs of the customers.
