Dear Dean Joe Brown:
I would like to state first off how much our company enjoys having your students visit us as part of our college recruiting program, and how much we look forward to seeing as well as interviewing more of the outstanding students your college has to offer.
However, the main reason you received this letter is in regards to a recent visit by a participating student in our college recruitment program. A rather large bill was received by our department due mainly to expenses that accumulated from a rather extended use of room service and assorted snacks from the hotel room fridge. As you know, we generously cover the expenses of these interview trips in order to encourage your fine student’s interest in our company. We provide them with hospital hotels and room service in order to make their visit as comfortable as possible. Some of these students may be unaware of certain types of interview etiquette that sometimes are overlooked; and therefore certain privileges, such as this, can be abused without the individual being aware of it. Certain students may even not be used to staying in a hotel which provides access to food in the room as well as room service. If behavior like this were to continue, we would have to cut back on the number of students we can interview and this is not what we hope to see in the near future. This type of behavior is understandable and we here at Tom\'s Cracker Factory hope you could perhaps arrange a short lecture to your students currently participating in this program, explaining proper interview etiquette to prevent further incidents such as the one we experienced recently.
