Summer

By far, this past summer has been the best one ever. It all started in March, after a softball practice. Some of us decided to go out and get something to eat, not knowing this would spark the greatest of friendships. We went out to Buffalo Wild Wings that night, and sat in the booth way over in the corner. A few of us played those trivia games that they do on the TVs overhead. I remember it was Megan, Gina, and Audrey on the one side and me, Janelle, and Brownie on the other. When the waitress came to take our orders you would suspect that we all got wings, well Audrey wanted to be different. When the woman asked her what she wanted, Audrey replied, "I'll have a grilled chicken salad please." It was so hilarious to hear her say that, and she has never lived that down. From that night on, we were always together or going places. Back when school was still going on you would always see atleast two of us together somewhere. After a while we even came up for a name for ourselves, The Regulars, since it's always the same people anytime we do anything.
The summer started off boring as usual. Since I graduated I was not allowed to play summer ball with my team. But since my sister was still on that team I still went to all of the games. I had to have put so many miles on my cars because of them. They all lived somewhere around eachother, but I was the oddball and was at least 20 minutes away from them all. Sometimes I wouldn't even bother coming home so I would stay up there at someone's house.
In the beginning of the summer, on a last minute decision, we decided to go to the Rascal Flatts concert. The night before we spent at Amanda's house because her parents weren't home. Needless to say, I wasn't feeling all that well the next morning. Actually spent most of the ride with my head semi-hanging out the window. We got there finally and had to stand in line for the longest time before they even open the gates. We had lawn seats so first come first serve....
