Abstract

The student survival guide will provide students with plans to help them achieve

success while attending Axia College online courses. The information provided is intended

to assist in the following areas: Using Axia’s Educational Resources; Upholding Academic

Honesty; Setting and Achieving Goals; Managing Time Wisely; Fostering Reading

Comprehension and Retention; and Applying Personality and Learning Styles. This guide will

provide the student with a means to reference information; to further enhance the potential for

success; and ultimately assist the student with their academic success.

Using Axia’s Educational Resources

Course materials are made available through Axcess on the student home page. These

files are available for download to your computer, or to a portable device; such as an Ipod, or

mp3 player. This provides the student with the convenience of listening, or watching material

while they are away...
