There are many accomplishments in my life of which I am proud, however there are two for which I am especially proud. Those being, having the opportunity to play varsity shortstop in high school, and having good enough grades to be nominated for, and to be admitted into, the National Honor Society. These accomplishments make me proud because they are goals that I was able to set and accomplish for myself. These are successes that not everyone can say that they have achieved.…
I am very excited for the opportunity to be a part of the National Honor Society. I look forward to helping others in our school and throughout the community. I feel this opportunity would be great for both me and the community.…
Outside of school, I have been in an FLL Robotics team for the past four years, and…
Varsity Winter Guard for two years, and this past year I have spent a lot of time mentoring…
I would be an exceptional candidate for NHS because not only do I set good examples in my academics, but also in my community and school. I live off of helping others, that is just who I am. I also am a hard worker, and when I have my mind set, it is set for good. I am interested in joining this organization because I am self-assured that my caring and compassionate personality will continue to help others in a substantial way. With all of this in mind, I am positive that I would be a valuable member to NHS and Carroll Jr. /Sr. High School.…
I would be honored to be a part of the National Junior Honor Society because it is a wonderful opportunity that only a few select people are qualified to receive an invite to join.…
Since the age of seven, I have known that I want to be a performer. I remember that as a child I fantasized about sold out theatres and New York City skylines. My dream of being on Broadway has always been an essential part of who I am and drives me to achieve greatness, whether it be in school, in theatre, or in my daily life. This want to be successful makes me a great candidate for National Honor Society because I have a steady track record in the key principles emphasized in membership.…
The National Honor Society is a society for leaders and has been established since 1921 .I too, am a leader in society and feel that my leadership accomplishments and goals would reflect off NHS. It is a privilege to receive an invitation to become part of the academic leaders of Willingboro High School. I would love to be a part of the National Honor Society because it will give me more opportunities to be a leader, participate in community service, and to help and influence the people around me. As you see, the goals of the NHS and my goals are both similar. I would be proud to be a member of the NHS and would serve the Society to the best of my ability. When I received the invitation, it gave me a new insight of my projects, worksheets,…
I will be a great addition to National Honor Society because over the years of growing up I believe I have shown actions of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. I would like to be more engaged at school by performing different service projects as well as hours in helping out our community. As an international student at DCIS, I’ve learned valuable knowledge and experienced different cultural diversity throughout the years. This has helped me to become an independent and responsible individual.…
I would not only like to, but be considered for membership within the NEHS, NMHS, and SMHS because it would make my parents and family proud. I also want to be a good role model for my sisters, who are just now entering their journey in their education. Especially for my younger sister, who is in 6th grade and in 2 years will enter high school. It would be an honor to be a member of the Honor Societies to make my parents proud and be an example/role model to my sisters. My parents made many sacrifices to get me and my sisters a better education then they did. I come from Mexico and my parents didn't have the same opportunities for education like I have right now and I have to thank them because they left their families to come to an unknown place with an unknown language just so I could study and have a better life then they did.…
Throughout my high school career, I have been given numerous opportunities to lead other students by example, work ethic, volunteerism, and school involvement. I believe that my greatest impact as a leader in high school has been through my participation in a Service Learning Class. This class gave me the chance to help and lead others by tutoring younger students in the middle school and elementary school. As a senior, I felt responsible for providing a voice for the class in ideas and decisions to help better our school. I worked with administrators, teachers, and class members to promote healthy habits of responsibility, school pride, respect, and service.…
Being in Honor Society would be such an amazing opportunity. I believe that I deserve to be in this group. I am qualified and willing to work as hard as I have to. I think that Honor Society will be a great way to help better…
The National Honors Society is more than just a honor roll, but an organization that recognizes the efforts made by hard working high school students. I would like to join National Honors Society because it would challenge my development in both my community and my school. The National Honors Society, consisting of over one million students, would make me a part of a large community that could create many opportunities for me in the future. A highly respected organization such as the National Honors Society is very significant to me. The scholarships and programs offered by this organization helps increase my ability to get the education that I desire that I might not have been able to receive due to the rapidly rising costs of college. Every…
Being a part of an honor society is not only about being a good citizen and giving back to your community, but also being a leader in everything you do. National Honors Society will give me more motivation to earn…
Being invited to join the National Honor Society is an honor itself. Being inducted into the NHS? Now that’s a whole different story. Since my freshman year, I have dreamed of joining the NHS. I have always envied the students who walked around every Thursday wearing the uniform. Since then, I have pushed myself to try harder in school. Now that I have the chance to be one of them, it’s something that I wont let slip. I want to be a part of the NHS because it would look great on a college application. It is one of the things I could prove to everybody that I am capable of achieving. Sometimes, I doubt myself so this is something that I can assure myself that I can achieve great things on my own. I know I’m not the perfect student, but I can prove that I am NHS worthy.…
