I recently visited the website, www.exploremath.com/index.cfm. This web page consisted of a forum. In the forum you can post messages with other members of the explore math community. The web page also had a list of lesson plans, a site to build your own web page, and the web page has its own newsletter. This side also contains mulitmedia activities such as manipulating points of inequalities and you can also experiment with and visualize solution sets for a system of inequalities. You can experiment with slopes, point-slope form, defining lines, linear inequalities, least squares fit line, linear programming and much more. There is also a page on the site that is dedicated to math news links.
This web page has links to articles such as:

and many more......
You can also go on a virtual tour of the website. There is also an introduction movie and a press and awards page.

Explore math has been featured as a good resource on Science Netlinks. The Cirriculum Administrator calls Explore Math an " exepmlorary site that demonstrates interactive mulitmedia power of the internet applied to math topics. " ESchool news calls Explore Math a terrific learning experience. The PBS Teacher Source suggests visiting the Explore Math web site. The Education Planet gave Explore Math their Top SIte Award in August, 2000. The ZDNET included Explore Math on its Big List of Incredibly Useful Sites. The Eisenhower National Clearing House for Mathematics and Science Education chose Explore Math as one of the "Digital Dozen" for Mathematics and Science.
I thought this site was okay. I think it was made more for teachers than students. It could be really useful to anyone who wants to use the computer to graph and look at the multimedia section.
