Social Studies for Business at WSU
Today, social responsibility in business is the commitment the corporation has upheld in guiding a well ethical and supportive company, leading to better living standards and a better overall being of the society. However, if the business tends to fall in a few mistakes than it is their responsibility for them and for any necessary changes that may be needed to correct the downfall. If times get rough, for example on 9/11, it is the business jobs to exercise problem solving techniques and perhaps solve a lot of the problems that have placed our society into a time of need. Social responsibility is becoming a lot more serious within the corporate world, as society is stressing upon a more efficient presence within the social issues. It is desired for the business to donate more goods and services to charitable events, or at least keep the people up to date on what needs to be done. There are far too many issues that could be discussed here, but it basically consists of anything that could affect or harm the human way. However, far too many people are carried away in the way we observe the social responsibility of business, as most want business to correct all decisions. If the corporations continue to run efficiently and with little issues, it will conclude in a well balanced social responsibility because of how they benefited to the society leading to better living standards.
Businesses should definitely be run with a conscience towards social good because that will only affect their outcomes. If it weren’t for the support of the people, there wouldn’t be any businesses to compete, so it couldn’t hurt to help those who need it. All businesses should be focused on helping the people before benefiting themselves.
