Social networking online is comparable to word of mouth offline. Word of mouth would have to rate as number one as a marketing tool. This can either make or break a business. Good reviews can bring an organization many clients in the future and it doesn’t stop there, word of mouth equals more word of mouth. Increasing reviews means increase in business. In fact, there are only two ways in which businesses gain presence on the web; one is through the search engines and the other is by social networking, which is the foundation of cultivation.
Social networking is the greatest marketing tool available to virtual businesses today. It is defined as the practice of increasing individual as well as group contacts. Though this network has been practiced for as long as society has existed, the effect is much more powerful on the web. Social Networking sites are usually free and they can help us to raise awareness to our cause much faster than any other form of media.
