Social Networking
Social networking. Good or bad? Social networks are an online community of people with a common interest who use a website or other technologies to communicate with each other and share information, resources, etc. I myself think that they are bad. I have learned the hard way. Students who have a lot of social networks tend to have lower grades in their classes. Researches found, that children who spend much of time online find it harder to concentrate in class, and are permanently distracted and have shorter attention spans. Teachers get mad when we use incorrect grammar because we are so used to talking through text messaging or on our social sites. Another reason students may have low grades in class is they rush to get it done and make careless mistakes, just so they can get online. Students also tend to stay up all night online, and are tired in class and don’t pay attention. This shows that there are many reasons for students having low grades in class because of social networks. Stress in one’s relationship is another common reason for social networking not being good. There are always other people trying to communicate with you if you have a social network such as Facebook, because they don’t care if you have a relationship or not and that could cause you to argue with one another. Also if you post a status about one another and it is talking bad about each other then other people will try to get into your business and it will lead to drama. For example, my daddy just recently got remarried and him and his wife both have Facebook’s, this woman keeps messaging his wife telling her that my daddy is no good and she knows all about him. It is stressing them out and causing them problems that are unnecessary because all she is doing is lying to her. As you can see relationships and social networking does cause stress.
