Introduction
Standard Chartered Bank has displayed significantly almost all the features of Strategic Human Resource Management which deals with the sourcing, deployment, development of people and activities intended to achieve organisational goals and objectives (Noe et al 2007). By adopting Guest (1992) model to secure its objectives and using the resourced based approach which looks at the organisations potentials and develops ways to exploit and enhances the available resources. A research was done by the Gallup organisation on the approaches used to revamp its talent management activities.
Talent management is described as the systematic attraction, identification, engagement, retention and development of individuals with high potential who are valuable to an organisation
