Flipping through the pages of cosmopolitan, consumers is bombarded with advertisements geared for selling things such as clothes, necklace, and so on. What they see is a cultural pattern, beautiful woman after beautiful woman, representing some product selling but more importantly selling that product's image. Upon coming across this advertisement; a woman is trying to persuade consumers to buy a very expensive dress form Yew York famous dress maker called Malene birge. According to this ad, it shows a woman standing straight in a sensual position. She is wearing a fine sexy dress that cost more that $345. This woman has thin body, long hair, and sexy legs. I realized that this ad holds most males attentions of drawing their ayes into her picture while females will be targeted of buying this expensive product. On the other hand, this ad persuades potential consumers to become attractive of buying this product. It is hard to believe with the notion of women are used as objects to sell very expensive dresses and has become a major key of selling a huge amount of dress to new consumers day by day. Our society is surround of ads everywhere combining images and words to promote goods, service, and anything else advertisers want to publicize. Advertisements are becoming a major part of mass media, including magazines to sell products. At times society may view the ads positively, or other times society may ignore the ads. In order to attract an audience, advertisers use various techniques in the ad to make people aware of the products, service, or brands. Although the methods used by advertisers are use a lot, the advertisers have a common goal to persuade potential consumers to buy the products.
