An on going debate continues currently in America regarding uniform policy suggested to public and private schools. Thinking about this issue has led me to believe that making school uniforms mandatory would help improve schools in this country in many ways.
First and most important, school uniforms would eliminate the pressure of fitting in and relieve the tensions between the new students and those who are already there. A dress code will expedite the process of making new friends for the new students the uniforms will help them feel a sense of belonging. A sense of unity will build within the school and students will feel as if they are a part of one whole t

By requiring school uniforms in public schools, education will be improved and a dress code will enforce discipline toward learning. School systems hope that uniforms will help eliminate gang violence caused by students wearing rival gang colors. These things combined can make it far less costly to purchase standard clothing than to meet the demand for demand for designer clothing worn now. All of these reasons combined together show that school uniforms can be beneficial for students, parents, and school officials.
Next, many people agree that wearing uniforms would decrease arguments that begin over expensive clothing and sneakers. Overall, it set an example for other schools planning to adopt the uniform policy by showing noticeable improvements in specific areas of its educational environment. There are fewer clothes to buy because everyone will be dressed in similar clothing.
