Introduction
Preliminary ideas were raised common knowledge such as internal and external factors both the student and the institution, is important to take into account factors such as: the socio-economic situation in which you will find most of the students, family situations, the use of narcotics, the presence of destructive and self-destructive practices such as Bullying and structured support offered by the education system itself both from its foundations to its application inside and outside the classroom. In previous studies on dropout consulted state that occurs in relation to various areas: gradually defected from the school, family, community, peer group and finally from the laws of a country. To analyze this problem it is necessary to mention its causes such as lack of access to transportation for low income families, early pregnancy, lack of restraint, lack of interest, motivation family problems and school failures, the inequalities the formal system of education in different sectors, demotivation and "laziness" in men. These would become the main causes of dropout of a less degree; at least the headlines highlighted the above. UNICEF (The United Nations Fund for Children) argues that these causes are left out of school half a million teens between 12 and 17 years.
The main objective of this research is to identify problems affecting students Heredia Province, specifically in the Liceo de Heredia to serve as a warning to the reader,

    Students drop out for many reasons. Sometimes, Study is not their number 1 priority in his/her life. Some incident that causes their drop out is their behavior. One of the most important is student engagement, which includes students’ active involvement in academic work.
