Report on "Saving Private Ryan"

This is my report on "Saving Private Ryan". I will do a one-page report on the movie. I will explain the mission and the problems that go with it. So here I go again.
The movie starts out on D-day. Captain Miller is leading part of the forces that are invading the beached of Normandy. Upon landing on the beach they come under heavy fire and have to fight for there lives to just get off the shoreline. When they finally get to the rallying point they have lost most of there men and are scattered all over the beach. They eventually take over the beach.
Now here is where the real story begins. After the beach is taken Captain Miller is ordered to take a group of men and track down a man named Private James Frances Ryan and get him home because all of his brothers were killed in action. He gathers up a group of men and begins the long journey of attempting to find him. Not even knowing if he is still alive.
While on there mission they come across a raging battle and have to bunk down for the night because they come under such heavy fire and while trying to help a little girl private Pakarzo gets shot and killed by an enemy sniper.
The next morning they head out and run into a patrol of men and one of the soldiers knows who Ryan is. He tells them that Ryan got picked up by some superiors and was taken out to veerville to protect a bridge. The platoon begins to head in that direction.
While on their way to find Ryan they come across a Barricaded Machine gun. They could have just gone around it but Captain Miller wants to take it out so they can't kill anymore allied soldiers. In the process they lose their medic, his name was Wade, and are forced to bury him there.
They finally find James Ryan and tell him what has happened to his family. He thinks about it and decides that he would rather stay and fight then...
