Introduction
This paper will provide an analysis, and recommendations for improvements of the current practices of the organizational and operational procedures of the following topics in the Riordan Manufacturing Company:
• Marketing and Sales
• Human Resources
• Operations and Logistics
• Information Laws
• Information Systems
The recommendations for each of the topic headings will contain the following subtopic headings to provide structure for the orderly transference of information:

Current practices
Riordan has gone to extreme lengths to strengthen customer relations within the company. They have an impeccable system in place to track sales data electronically. With this new system in place, Riordan can track their information by date, delivery and payments. Some other ways that this information can be tracked on behalf of the consumer include: Sales by customers, a break down on how much was paid by the consumer, the cost of the product, the margin and if any discount(s) were given. Riordan has a number of major customers who invest in their products. Individual customer records are maintained in an effort to keep up with sales. Some sales members still use the system of pencil and paper, while others use software called ‘Act’. Hybrid management applications are currently available to aid in the transition.
