From our discussions held at your company office on Monday 22nd June 2009. You expressed some concerns you have over your current operations. Enclosed is my proposal on the problems you have pointed out and how to achieve your desire result for your company.
Through our discussions and observing the practises of your company procedures, we have pointed out areas that should be improved to provide your growing business into the 21st century.

Problems

Stand alone computers is not a common business practise. Computers are networked to provide business with shared resources and connectivity and an efficient way for computers to communicate.

Delegation of office procedures giving each salesperson an area that suits their area of expertise for example salesperson A can negotiate with the commercial customers and salesperson B can negotiate with private customers.

Double handling of forms and confirmation – this method is time consuming and also shows the lack of confidence in sales consultants. Management expressed their concern on being unable to focus on strategic plans.

Solution

 Network office area and Storage Area by setting up a database for customers and stock availability this would minimise the need to double handle paper work and be more efficient with dealing with customers orders.
 Delegation of manager’s task would create more time for the manager to concentrate on the day to day operations of the business example financial and strategic business plans.
 Hire or promote a Senior Consultant to help manager with the day to day duties of the business.
 Senior Consultant to step in, when manager is not present.
 Transfer customer details and stock details to Access 2007
