Reading And Comprehension

o What was your approach to reading the selection?
I don’t truly have an approach to reading. Normally I just scan through it briefly and then I would read it in detail.   It helps me understand what I am reading. It is like a mental over view.

o What was your reading setting?
My reading setting was quiet under a single reading light. I try to read in an area where not much is happening. I get distracted easily, so I may read a selection somewhere like a bedroom or in a park.   I also try to have some snacks on hand to keep from being hungry while I read. I don’t need any excuses to get up and leave the area in which I am reading and studying in.

o How did you minimize distractions?
I minimize distraction by staying in an area where there is no loud music, No TV, and not a lot of traffic. If I must be in an area like home for instance; I would inform everyone I am studying and not to bother me during that time.
o Did you become emotionally involved?
I wouldn’t say emotionally involved, because the package was not real personal. The package however does help me with my current business venture. A lot of the information in the reading helped me understand what I do wrong and improve upon some skills I already know.
