Major points of evidence – Cutting the operational costs just to improve the profit margin is not always just that easy. It effects more than just one department and individual. Cost reduction does not pertain to just one thing being cut to make work. There are many things to consider when trying completing this task. One of those would be to be better organized, have a well planned program, maintaining accurate records; new strategies are also needed, and then make sure you have a qualified leadership group that can handle the task. As for the cutting places, salaries and unnecessary jobs that can be combined, marketing and advertising, and supply expenses. This company can also find better uses of the display area’s, contribute more to sales with the customers, improve the internal methods and procedures, and make larger returns on advertising. This is only mentioning a few of what can be used. The effect that all changes can and do have on employees and the company are things such as workers either laid-off or out of a job, production will be a bit slow at first but will bounce back since there is going to an increase in profit, and a tighter hold on the business.
