Anthony Pinckard COM 130 Week 9 Day 7 Final Project August 24, 2008 Abstract It “pays” to be a Computer Programmer Can you do what you want to do? Everyone that was surveyed had at least a GED equivalent or higher with one person who had graduated with a Bachelors Degree. Everyone in the group that I surveyed was happy with their job benefits, but only two felt that their income was sufficient. None of the people surveyed felt that their position was over-populated. One of the people surveyed felt there were too few people in their career field. Only one person had been in their career for more than 10 years. The other responses were in the less than 1 year to 3-6 years range. {draw:frame} All four of the people surveyed said they had positive relationships with their co-workers, and three of the four had spent time with co-workers outside the workplace. What I gathered from the survey results was that people who do not end up in their so-called “dream job,” are not necessarily miserable. The results showed that all of the participants socialized with their co-workers on a personal level, so there must be some level of enjoyment.
