reasonable pricing to remain competitive. In an effort to meet its commitment that Kudler has towards
Its customers and stakeholders, the company needs strong planning and proper co-ordination.
Looking at current situation certain issues are holding its potential growth.
The strong factors backing Kudler Fine Foods to remain stable in this present economic situation are as
follows

• Repeat Customers
• Good Cash flow
• Rapid Growth
• Small Organization
• No Outside Investors
While it may have the above strengths, Kudler Fine Foods does not display the same excellence in
planning and financial control.

Issue and Opportunity Identification
Kudler Fine Foods has no direct competition but is still losing market share to other departmental stores
because of constant growth in there specialty food division. In addition, weak sales from Del Mar
Location, Small management teams with over burdened responsibilities and above all mainly dealing
with perishable goods all these factors are leading to significant decline in its stability and expansion.
In order to strengthen these factors, Kudler Fine Foods management leader Kathy decides to close the
Del Mar location when the rental agreement expires, and directs all the customers to the new Carlsbad
location which will not only increase sales by adding new customers but also retain existing customer
