Andrew Beckett

Andrew Beckett is a defense attorney for Wyatt and Wheeler law firm. He had been working at this law firm for a long time. At the beginning of the movie Andrew has been promoted to senior attorney, and has been chosen to defend a big case. Andrew Beckett happens to be gay, and he has a boyfriend named Miguel. They had just moved into an apartment with each other. One day while Andrew was at home he got a call from the law firm saying that the information on his case was not on his computer. He knew that he had it on there so he told another employee to search the documents on his computer for it. But all traces of it had been erased. The next day Andrew finds out that he has been let go by his job. They somehow found out that he had aids and fired him for it. He decides to sue the law firm for wrongful dismissal, and has Joseph Miller as his attorney. During the trial Andrew gets really sick in the court room and has to be rushed to the hospital. Still the trial continued with out him. Joseph ended up winning the case for Andrew, and went to the hospital to tell him. Andrew was happy when he won. Since he did win his case he was awarded almost five million dollars. Sadly at the end of the movie Andrew is overcome by his aids and eventually dies with people by his side.
