Money In Da Bank

Objectives:
This workshop for females is designed discuss the importance of being financially secure. Advisors will be on hand to talk about bank accounts, savings, credit, investments and other monetary options. In addition to learning how to manage your current assets, tax advisors will also be asked to speak about how to understand and complete federal and state taxes.

Cost:
$30 (Light refreshments and appreciation gifts)

Tasks:
1. Contact and invite local tax preparers, bankers, financial consultants and accounts
2. Reserve a room: set up tables, seats, and other materials
3. Purchase drinks and light snacks for students
4. Purchase small presents to thank any speakers who help with the program
5. Gather handouts and make copies if necessary
6. Advertise (flyers, UTimes, bulletin boards, etc)

Sweets for Our Sweethearts

Objectives:
This program will be held to honor the ladies for Valentine's. The first part will be to hand out carnations and offer a kind word to women who pass by the Belk Tower. Each flower will have an invitation to the evening's event. That night, guest will meet to enjoy music, movies, or other form of public entertainment. Deserts and drinks (maybe sparkling cider) will be served by the fraternity members. They will also cater to the needs of the ladies i.e. polish fingernails, shoulder rubs, small conversation, play games, etc.

Cost:
$200 (Flowers and other supplies)
