Gender differences, males in one class females in the other. Is that really how you want your child to learn? Well it should be gender-separation in classes can improve multiple different subjects. Schools should be gender-separated because of brain development, learning techniques and social reasons. Schools should be gender-separated because of how the brain develops . Boys and girls brains develop differently. Boys are better at math than girls because girls don’t receive daily surges of testosterone but surges of estrogen a couple days a month which means girls should get extra help in math. When classes are gender-separated females show stronger verbal skills and demonstrate empathy more easily. Gender segregation can also help with how boys and girls approach each other. Boys may also work on being less rough and a bit more gentle. Girls may also work on being more comfortable with talking to a guy instead of being so tensed up. This also opens up another door for more learning, If jane was scared to answer or ask a question because her crush was in her class that may hold her back from answering or learning why she was incorrect. Even though gender-separation can help social skills, it may also harm the way boys and girls interact with each other. Then again learning is the thing society thrives on. Also they will come familiar with each other it’s not like they’ll ever have no contact with the other gender. It just helps and solidifies the way they learn.
