LawrieTech.com initially Lawrie Technologies Ltd was founded by Iain Lawrie and his wife Clair in 1989. The company is a software engineering company which specializes in software systems for electricity supply. Previously, Ian had worked for the Electricity Board as a systems engineer but he discover an opportunities as the utilities market became less regulated for developing and supplying software systems for controlling electricity supply, therefore he started to operating out of the space room in the family home. As a result, the business has experienced rapid growth and the Lawries now employ 240 staff who service clients in 13 countries including the USA, France and India.
