Explanation of the Visuals I will use:
I chose many visuals for my News You Can Use Project such as, a transparency, and a poster. The Transparency shows a political cartoon showing the control the Republican, the elephant; have over the Democrats, the donkey. The Republicans are the majority in the Legislature, Executive, and probably the Judicial Branch. I chose this political cartoon to explain why President Bush should have an easier time passing the Intelligence Reform Bill Legislation because, since he is in favor of the idea, and most of the Republicans are for it, it should be easy for the legislation to be passed. But somehow the legislation isn’t go as smoothly as it seems. There seems to be much opposition in which the opposers want a stricter definition of dealing with the intelligence. The opposers want the bill changed to stop states from issuing driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. There are also many reasons of other opposers that will stall the legislation. The poster will show the same thing as the transparency, in which Bush will be shown as having a tighter control of all of the branch. This explains the same thing as the transparency.

Explanation of Why I chose the article:
I chose this article because this is an important piece of legislation that America and its citizens need to know about. This can affect every Americans one way or another. This is also the legislation that took on the recommendations of the 9/11 commission committee. And because the Republicans have control of every part of the government, it is interesting why the legislation isn’t going through smoothly.

Short Analysis of the article:
