It is a private gaming corporation that owns and operates many casinos/hotels primarily under the Harrah’s, Bill’s, Caesars, Horseshoes, Rio, Showboat, Bally’s, Paris, Harveys, Sheraton, Grand Casinos, and Flamingo brand names, as well as six golf courses under several brands. The company, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the largest gaming business in the world. It has grown through development of new properties, expansions and acquisitions, and has grown to become the leading provider of branded casino entertainment in North America. Harrah’s Entertainment was rated America’s most admires gaming company and was also named to the Forbes list of the best performing companies in the United States. It is focused on building loyalty and value with its customers through a unique combination of great service, excellent products, unsurpassed distribution, operational excellence and technology leadership. There are over 85,000 employees working for the company’s properties across the country.
