Devon is considered a traditional manager because of the ways he handles situations. He likes to motivate employees by setting strict deadlines on a project for all its employees. He likes to reward those employees who exceed and finish their projects on time and punish those who do not, either by verbal warning or by terminating them. He also provides all the resources necessary as well as indicating employees exactly what he wants. Isabella is more of a visionary leader she likes to motivate employees by challenging employees to look ahead, to contribute ideas, and to make sacrifices for the good of the company. She also offers employee input on different needs each employee may possess and helps employees think out scale the box for innovative ideas they may lack. I would choose Isabella’s leadership style as a visionary leader to be more effective. I would like a manager to motivate me, to help me with input, as well as to consider my ideas every once in a while. If I were Paul I would here Isabella for her motivation toward employees as well as her intellectual and creative ideas. She is favorite among employees for her employee involvement and her employee input. Some potential down sides fro Devon would be that he lacks innovative thinking, which he needs in order to have the most creative ideas or solutions. Another down side would be that if he punishes her employees, they are not going to be happy and they are not going to perform at the same level as happy employees. He also pressures his employees to finish a certain task before time, in the long run the employees are going to quit or they are going to be stressed out. Some down sides for Isabella would her egotistical personality, which I believe can change with help of a professional. I believe Devon’s employees would be more motivated to finish a project because they are under pressure, under Devon’s reward or punish system. In the other hand Isabella’s employees would have higher job...
