The scene opens in a quiet, dimly lit room with a group of well-dressed people in seats facing a small stage. It is a familiar room, one where Alex has spent a large amount of time. A doctor in a white lab coat escorts him into the room once more, only this time he is taken onstage and the doctor leaves him there. A spotlight from the back of the room turns on and is shining directly on Alex. The Minister of the Interior stands up and begins to speak. He begins by explaining that Alex is in a clear state of mind; he has not been drugged and he has not been hypnotized. He proclaims that Alex is no longer a threat to society, that he is a normal and upstanding young man. He continues to deliver a politically driven and biased speech exclaiming the supremacy of his party. It is then that he stops and cues the demonstration to begin.
Part one of the demonstration commences when a man joins Alex onstage. He begins by insulting Alex’s hygiene. He then goes on to strike him and throw him to the ground. Alex lies there helpless, pleading for mercy and looking as though he is about to vomit. The stranger tells him to lick the sole of his shoe and only then will he let him up. Alex obeys. He is forced to lick the dirty shoe three times before the Minister of the Interior calls the man off and thanks him for his service. The man walks to center stage takes a bow and leaves behind the curtain on the stage. Alex still lies there, prostrate on the stage and is joined by a young blonde woman for the second part of the demonstration. She approaches him, wearing nothing but panties, as Alex gazes in disbelief. Finally she stands in front of him, towering over him as he gawks at her nude body. He slowly reaches for her breasts and suddenly he begins to heave again. He cannot touch her. He falls to the floor sick and helpless. The Minister of the Interior speaks up once again and the girl takes a bow, turns, and leaves the stage....
