Traute Klein, a German herbalist and specialist in holistic living, has mastered what she believes to be the natural healing of burn ailments. She has used her techniques to save many lives during the post-war deprivation. She has passed her knowledge of herbal healing to people of all ages. She encourages her followers to use what nature has provided as the aid for common ailments, and live in harmony with creation. In her article on the natural treatment of burns, she introduces techniques to the reader that will help them transition toward herbal medicine to cure their burn ailments.
Traute starts the article off by engulfing the reader into one of her personal experiences where immediate first aid was needed. She told the readers how she had left a chunk of her forearm on an oven rack that had heated to an immense 500o Fahrenheit. She told of how the pain was so intense that she completely forgot the necessary first aid techniques to perform. While she stood shocked glancing at her bare bone, her 10 year old son went into action. Traute luckily had instructed her son on all the methods of herbal medicine and holistic living. He brought her some Vitamin E capsules and instructed her to squeeze them into the wound. She used a 400 IU all natural Vitamin E tablet to stop the immense pain on contact. It took at least 10 minutes for her pain to completely stop. She later used the Vitamin E tablets to continue treating the burn to lessen the chances of having a scar leftover from the incident. She told the reader that the wound could hardly be traceable after 25 years; however, she could still tell it happened because new skin grew but the muscle that was lost was irreplaceable. She explains how it is a good idea to keep a capsule or two of Vitamin E around to ease the pain of burns and prevent scarring.
