My Most Memorable Experience
My Most Unforgettable Experience
Whenever somebody ask me to relate an experience that I can never forget, millions of different experiences comes to my mind. But there is only one experience which I would consider memorable and unforgettable. It was the first time I went to Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna where I rode a roller coaster. Why? The fear, excitement and anxiety that I felt, is beyond one’s imagination. Let me recall the whole incident.
It happened in 2007 where I started my career in BPO industry, where the company ask us to stay in Clark since we do not have the facility yet here in Davao to start with. So, the two first batch went to Clark for training for three months.
During the first three weeks we spent in Clark, we decided for our team to have a team building since some of my team were first timers in Manila. So I suggested to spend it in Enchanted Kingdom since it would also be my first time to go there.
It was a sunny day. I woke up in the morning. Our dormitory was noisy because everyone is preparing for our travel to Laguna.
“We are going to Enchanted Kingdom today.” My roommate’s voice interrupted my thought. I could sense happiness in her cheerful voice.
The moment we all reached Mall of Asia to get a ride to Enchanted Kingdom, my close friend suggested to take a Van so that we would be much comfortable. So we reached the entrance of EK and we all had taken our own pictures individually and as a group.
My supervisor suggested, “Let’s go for a ride in a roller coaster first. I’ve heard so much about the roller coaster here and I’m dying to try it.”
I said: “No way, I wouldn’t want to be scared to death”. I protested, shaking my head from left to right as hard as I could. And everyone agrees to try that first. I don’t have a choice but to go with them.
I don’t know if I have to stay or try it out with my other teammates. I guess, I have no choice but to try and see how I will conquer my fear.
“Hurry up!” urged my Supervisor. I

16 years later, the one and only happiest place on earth began appearing in other places on earth. The first expansion to Walt Disney world in Florida created new opportunities for Imagineering to experiment and they created attractions like Epcot center – a taste of cultures from all over the world. The results drew fans from across the globe, but later iterations at the park in Europe and Asia are the first real experiments in bringing Disney entertainment directly and personally to a global audience right in their front yard.…

We drove down in separate cars from Kentucky enduring about thirteen long hours of “fun” with my immediate family. We finally arrive in animal kingdom where we are staying in one of the Disney hotels. We get to our room and get settled in when I look out on the balcony and see giraffes, and antelopes, and peacocks walking around in my back yard. It was one of my favorite parts of this trip. We then go out to wait for the bus to take us to our first kingdom, epcot. I remember immediately being here as a child and know exactly what I want to go and do and see. Now being seventeen, I take one of my cousins and we go off on our own to see what we want to experience. We go to the science museum and learn about space and evolution which has through my high school years been very beneficial to me. Having fun and learning at the same time was great. I spend the entire next day going around to all the rides and enjoying them at least two times each. I couldn’t believe how much fun I was having. After that I went to the stores and got all the things I wanted to take back home to remember this trip…

Do you like roller coasters? I do, if haven't ridden one you should at least try it because they are really fun. The first time I rode one I was kind of scared because I didn't know what it was like. My family went on a vacation To Disney World in Florida for the first time. When I told my dad I wanted to ride it he said "you know you don't have to ride it" but I said I really wanted to. When we got there, there was a giant electric guitar and it was as tall as the sky in front of the building. The name of the ride was the Rock'n Roller Coaster, based on the band Arrow Smith. It seemed like a really fun ride. It was inside a building and when I was strapped in it was very comfortable. The ride had two speakers in the headrest playing the band's…

When I lived in Michigan, one of my fondest memories was going to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. We lived over 3 hours away so it was a perfect day trip. When we reached Cedar Point Road, Lake Eerie was to the right and along the horizon seventeen roller coasters stood high as sky scrapers. As we entered the park we were greeted by Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. The park was soon filled with children laughing, parents pushing strollers, and adrenaline junkies looking for the next thrill. As the aroma of sugar candy coated apples filled the air, we dashed to the snack shop for candied apples and cotton candy. We enjoyed our sugary treats on the Giant Wheel which is known as North Americas largest Ferries Wheel. Coming off the Giant Wheel we find ourselves entering Snoopy town, where Snoopy and the gang entertained the audience with music and dance. As the show ended, we decided it was time to ride some coasters. The first coaster we rode was the world’s fastest coaster the Top Thrill Dragster which slingshot us from 0 to 120 mph in less than 4 seconds and in 15 seconds we were spiraled up 420 feet and back down to the finish line. We soon found ourselves wet on Shoot the Rapids the wettest water coaster that took us up and splashed us down. It was refreshing as the temperature was rising. Now we were at the end of the park and to our amazement stood the world’s largest wooden roller coaster. Its handsome and elegant architecture was admirable to look at. Aboard this coaster we were rocketed through the hills and turns, just like life, full of ups and downs. Above all Cedar Point Amusement Park is fun for all ages. It clearly left me with a lifetime of memories, to return home to Maui and share with loved…

Everyone feels the adrenaline rush as they reach the top of the first hump on the roller coaster. You are nearly wetting your pants as you can see the whole amusement park from the top. There, in those fractions of seconds you are pulled with a tremendous force down from the track as if you just let everything go and are now free falling to the ground. You feel the release of tension as if you just told someone you loved them for the very first time.…

After we went to the bathroom and changed our wet cloth to our dry cloth, we headed straight for the roller coaster. I’m not going to lie, I was afraid if most of them, but my big brother told me it’s not scary it is fun. That made me feel brave and bold. The first ride I rode was the Fiesta Texas, where you go up and fall straight down. I was terrified, but after I saw a five year old looking boy get off, I wasn’t going to let him be braver than me. It was finally my turn. When we were going higher, I could see the people as dots, I thought in my mind I…

At the beginning of this past summer my family and I decided to go to Branson. While we were there we did Silver Dollar City. We went in after 3 on Sunday and got Monday free because of the deal the park has. On the last day at the park I finally decided that I was going to ride Wildfire; Silver Dollar City’s biggest roller coaster. The reason I finally concluded to ride it was because I did not know the next time that I would get back; I wanted to be able to say I rode it and did not want to regret or always have wished that I would have. As my family and I walked up to ride Wildfire, I had butterflies the whole time. We walked right onto the roller coaster. As we sat down in the seats I clicked in the buckles and pulled my harness down.…

    Busch Gardens

As soon as I arrived within the enormous gates of Busch Gardens, the first thing I witnessed was the gigantic roller coasters hanging over the heads of random people like a venomous snake lurking for its next prey. The shrieks of the people on the rides gave me an adrenaline rush as I stood staring at the massive machines as they soared through the rails. The first ride I went for was wooden, which was one of the most dangerous rides in the park. As I sat and waited in line, I could hear the screeching of the metal as the ride took off, making most people ahead of me coward in fear as they shoved their flip-flops in their backpacks and turned around leaving the line. There were no harnesses to strap across the chest; the hard, metal bar and loose seat belt were your only tools of protection from a fatal fall. As the ride took off, I extended my arms within in the air while the G-force from the immense drop pulled my body tighter against the hard, metal seat of the ride. The hot sun beamed against my face as the ride climbed to its peak until finally dropping again. Although the ride was extremely fast and shaky, I only continued to smile and laugh at my peers who were both teary-eyed and exhausted from the horrific screaming and panicking. As I left, my peers and I walked through the gift shop exit, suddenly stopping…

“Wait up you two!” my dad exclaimed, but I barely heard him because it seemed like he was a mile away. My brother and I started out on a twisty ride that would eventually turn us upside down. The line was very blunt, and in about 15 minutes, I found myself plopping down in the comfy seat of the ride. The ride started by pointing straight down and proceeded right into the 360 degree turn. After that thrill of a lifetime, we went on the whole day shopping and going on as many thrilling rides as we could, while also looking at all of the amazing other things the park had in store for us. At around 8:30 P.M, just an hour before it closed, my dad decided that it was time to leave and go back home. I found myself staring up at all of the amazing things, and begging my dad if we could come back one…

At thirteen years old, I was the kid that no one wanted to drag to an amusement park with because I strictly stuck to the merry go round and swings. My parents were always eagerly trying to persuade me to at least try a roller coaster but I refused. Deep inside I wanted to be fearless and be able to jump on the attraction like there was no problem, but I was too nervous. All of my friends, including my family were adrenaline junkies, always wanting to get on the roughest and worst rides of them all. This naturally caused me to become even more frustrated when attending Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, which was very often. It wasn’t till one day when visiting the park that I decided I was not just going to take a risk, but I was determined to overcome my first roller coaster.…

But how do they combat being afraid?I Do they close their eyes and wait for it to be over, or do they face fear head on? People combat fear in many ways; for example, telling themselves it's not real, or maybe ignoring what makes them afraid. I personally like to face fear head on, whether it's in a haunted house or in real life.I think it's better to face your fears head on because if you don’t you will keep being haunted by that fear until you face that fear. Being scared happens to everybody occasionally, like seeing something outside or just leaving your phone somewhere. Everybody gets scared and you either like it or you don't like it at all. People combat fear any way they…
