My grandmother, Elaine Parker, inspires me in a way that few others can. She is inspiring to me is when speaks about dance, I myself am a dancer going on 11 years and she has studied everything from ballet to jazz to tap dance within a span of 20 years. Having someone in your family to push you and move you forward is one thing, but when they have experienced the same things as you…

1. She has influenced me to take the best care of myself. My mom is always harassing me about my schoolwork. It is because of her that I generally have my schoolwork completed to the best level it can be. As a result, I have learned responsibility for my duties. My mom has also taught me to never degrade myself. She was there to help me study, instead of letting me mope around, when I got my first bad grade in elementary school. Now, I look at how to improve my work or myself when I don’t get ideal results. My mother made me believe that I am a good human being if I love who I am.…
One of the heroic traits I see in my mom is that she is always there for me no matter what. She is the one who comes to my mind when days are filled with dread and then, my days become bright once again. If I am going through a "rough patch" in life she is there, standing by my side ready to do whatever she can to make that patch of my life great once more, if not better than it was before. When I fall she is there, right next to me, ready to help me up any time that I need.…
My mother has had a huge impact on my life and it is because of her that I am the person I am today and today where I am. Most people say I am a lot like my mother, both physically and mentally. We both have the same mannerism, facial expressions, and thought processes. We love to learn and travel, eat exotic and luxuries food, spend time with family, and we both have an incredible urge for knowledge. From observing my mother's behavior and listening to her lectures, she has had a great influence on my life, choices, and personality.…
My mom instilled moral and values in me that will last a life time. She made sure we knew the difference in right and wrong at a young age. My sisters and I always knew that not only god was watching us but also she had her eye on us all the time. She always took pride in making sure each and every one of us respected ourselves as well as others. She made sure that we all would grow up a bright young lady’s, by instilling morals. Being a young lady requires one to defiantly have morals. My mother expected us to behave and follow rules at all times, even when we were frustrated at an individual, because we knew it was not tolerated.…
Everyone in life has a person or a group of people that has influenced him or her the most. As for me, that one special person is Maria Martinez, my mother. She is the youngest of five siblings and was born in a small pueblo in Mexico. This amazing person taught me the values and principles of life and also the importance of family. My mother’s courage and determination to make a good life here in the United States for herself and the family, instead of just coming over to the United States and expecting everything handed to her. She is always trying to find new ways and ideas to improve the family life because she wants the best for me and my brother to succeed in life. Throughout my school years she has given me guidance, support, and encouragement to get where I am now in college.…
I can always count on her to do something if she says that she is going to do it. It just so happens that it was true. I called my mother on her cellular phone and it just so happen she was at a store where there was a Western Union. I caught her in a lie and there was nothing that she could do about it but just sit there and look dumb. She "no", because they were yellow and they look like they I had been walking in a puddle of urine. One example is when I was in Houston, Texas at a Robotics competition, I ran out of money and didn"tmt know how I was going to eat for the rest of the week. says is going to happen, always happen. There is nothing that she wants for and she really doesn"tmt ask anyone for anything because she says that people aren"tmt dependable. For instance when one of my girlfriends from back in the day was lying about something, my mother told me that if I was to just wait and ask her about it another time that her story would be different and all mixed up. My mother is also my favorite person because is a very dependable person. She says what she means and means what she says. I am very blunt dependable and a lot of people fell like they can talk to me about almost anything. She never bites her tongue for anyone or anything and she will always say what she wants to say when she wants to say it. She immediately sent me money so that I could eat and enjoy the rest of my…
My mom is one of the most inspiring people in my life and what makes her so special is that she seems to have no idea how motivating she is. She has led our family and guided my siblings with simply being herself. She leads by examples, showing us her values and making sure we live with a roff on top of our head and food to eat at the table. She would tell us us to do homework , study and to ''never give up''. She tell us to treat everyone we meet with respect and I have never heard of her making a rude comment or put someone down. She teaches us to be proud of who we are and make smart decisions so we will never be ashamed.…
My mother was a strong woman even though she was tough on me. Like she would say, “Phil you are goanna go to school and you are going to college so you, my son won’t have to live like this and that one day in my olden state you can take care of your loving mother,” then start to cry after words and I would always say I will try mom I will try for you to try and cheer her up. I didn’t like seeing her unhappy like that. Other than those mental break downs she was strong, loving, caring, and warm.…
It took me 20 years to realize what an extraordinary influence my mother has been to me. Your mother is the person that brings you into this world. When you are an infant, she is the one that makes certain you are always fed, dry, and happy. After a few years, she teaches you how to walk, talk, and how to dress yourself. In my case dolled me up! She is the one that pays attention to your favorite snacks and surprises you with them in your lunch box. She is the one waiting at your bus stop with open arms ready to hug you and take you home. She teaches you how to share and most importantly, teaches you that she is there for you whenever you may need her. Looking back, my mother is the most positive and important influence by teaching me the fundamentals of life.…
I find my Mother to be a very inspiring person; the reasons for these are endless. My Mom has been through multiple hardships over the course of her life and throughout it all she has become an exceptionally strong, loving, and wise person. This fact alone astounds me and when compounded with the fact that my Mother, amidst it all, still manages to have a quick, clever, and upbeat sense of humor I am left awe-struck.…
I grew up in a middle class, single parent family in Ukraine. My mother had to work a lot to make some money for living. Even though we lived in a Democratic country, our government didn’t give any chance for people to improve their lives. Back then, I would have never imagined that someday I’ll live in America and be blessed with the opportunity to make my life the way I want it to be. Moving to the United States gave me a whole new world to look at. However, nothing of this would have taken place if my mother didn’t have the courage to leave everything behind and start from scratch.…
Out of all of the things that astounds me about my mother the thing I admire most about her is her unbelievable strength and courage. My mom is a very strong woman. She very rarely asks for help and uses her own strength to get through things. When my dad was stationed overseas she was the one who kept everything going perfect over here. Even when she wanted to break down she did not, she kept going and pushed through and all obstacles that stood in her way. Whatever me and my siblings needed she…
It is no question that mothers are utterly important in every child’s life. As far as I could remember my mother has always been there for me. For example one of the many times she has been there for me was when she taught me the difference between healthy food and junk food. Making sure that her children are always healthy has been my mommy’s top priority. When I was six, or seven I can recall going to the corner store with my parents and like most kids I wanted a dollar bag of potato chips. After asking my dad, I put the bag of chips into the cart. Soon, my mother saw the bag and convinced me to take a bag of apples instead of junk. This short example can proof that even though a father can love his children very much, a mother is better at parenting. A father doesn’t share a special bond with their child as mothers do. Also from the first trimester till god knows when mothers never seem to stop worrying and sacrificing for their offspring. Even if the fathers are head of most households, they don’t have the qualities of multitasking. Every mother can guarantee that multitasking is applied to everyday life with a kid.…
