Although brazil is an important industrial power with the strongest economy in the Latin American region, poverty is still widespread in the country according to some estimates 50 percent of the population is poor or living on slightly less than ,unlike in the united kingdom where equality is provided to everyone a, brazil is the second country of worlds ranking of inequality. The incidence of rural poverty is high in brazil and approximately 21 per cent of population live in rural areas the country has the largest rural population in the western hemsphere.30 million people live in conditions of poverty ,education and health are more readily available to urban than rural populations, in the UK the government provides education and health to people of all levels which gives equality to everyone ,also in brazil water supply are generally inadequate in rural areas with limited access to technology .Brazil rural people are the poorest and the most venerable group, this group includes the women ,young people and ethnic minorities such has afro descendants ,.The north region of brazil is the poorest ,in brazil after a person reaches the age of eight he or she is expected to start work , very few poor parents work in brazil but if they do they work for minimum wage .They work eight hours a day and they still don’t make enough money ,. .There is also a class called the middle class they are about 21% 0f the population and they are a little bit better than the very poor ones ,in brazil ,the upper class in brazil is not very many because its very hard in the country to become that successful ,they are mostly part of the governed and they receive about 80% of countries income .in conclusion there has been some efforts to correct the problem recently Brazilians government approved an amendment to the constitution which would create fund to combat poverty.
