Introduction
For our Multidisciplinary and Service Learning Project we tackled each one of the components that are required to explain middle school education. The components for middle school education include middle school philosophy, which would state the explanation of the origin of middle schools from the perspectives of several countries, including the United States. Furthermore, another component would be middle school characteristics, which includes middle school needs, such as school staff, security, and academic necessities. In addition, the characteristics of middle school students include the requirements of students physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and academically, both generally and individually. Moreover, some other components of middle school education are middle school concepts and curriculum. For example, middle school curriculum includes Reading/English/Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. Additionally, middle school activities are yet another component of middle school education, both in school and out of school activities are contributed. Furthermore, service learning, which includes peer-tutoring in middle schools, is also redundant to the components of education. Moreover, the violence and crime in middle schools contribute to the education in the school. In conclusion, in our Multidisciplinary and Service Learning Project we described all the components of middle school to fully explain Middle School Education.
