3. Lasissez Style: extreme free-rein. The people are "self-motivated."
- Goal given to subordinates & left the "decision" to find ways to
accomplish the work.

Personal-behavioral Theories

Started in 1940s
- Assumed that Effectiveness of Leadership depend on Leader Behavior.

The Michigan Studies: By Likest & his research Team.

Two Types
- Job-Centered
- Employee-Centered

*Job Centered: Close supervision, use of coercive reward &
ligitimate
power to influence subordinate behavior.
*Employee: delegation of authority, decision making, helping
subordinate, creating a supportive environment.
