1.0 INTRODUCTION
As a consultant, it is recommended that Bob & Lloyd open their pizza outlet in Chaguanas. There is a need for high quality food, efficient and fast delivery service at affordable prices within an eleven mile radius. B & L’s Italian Pizza Palace plan opening in April, 2009 in this growing economic town is positioned to take advantage of a strong need for additional food delivery avenues, thus satisfying customers.
2.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
B&L’s Italian Pizza Palace is a new player in the food industry in Chaguanas and it’s near surrounding areas. The business is in a comfortable, familiar, town that has a strong need for additional dining options. Bolstered by the need for more choices in family-oriented dining experiences with the home-delivery service, the business is positioned to take advantage of the market need and serve the families in the Chaguanas area.
Chaguanas population is rapidly growing with new social classes, subdivisions and young families moving into the area. Chaguanas has experienced explosive growth the past three years. Over 5,000 new residents live in the area and more are expected with housing developments in the area. B&L’s Italian Pizza Palace wants to catch up with this new opportunity. It is B&L’s Italian Pizza Palace's strategy to exploit the first-mover opportunity and establish itself as the preferred pizza provider to the area. Currently, the area's closest pizza restaurant takes up to 45 minutes to deliver a pizza. B&L’s Italian Pizza Palace will cut the delivery time to no more than 20 minutes. We believe a locally-owned restaurant is the best option to serve the Chaguanas and near surrounding areas, growing population with a fresh, unique menu as opposed to a national chain franchise.
We will offer a better pizza, at a lower price, and deliver it hot to the customer's door faster...
