The product or service that I have chosen to market is a personal training gym or fitness club. I feel that both of these go hand in hand as they reflect each other perfectly for if a successful gym is run then your personal trainers will almost be as successful as people are constantly searching for a person to help them reach their fitness goals by motivation or by showing them the items that they need to be successful.
For the beginning part of the marketing plan outline that we will go through is the analysis of the market in which our gym and personal training will be located in. We will go over the size and demographics of the market which will be a large market as it appears that gyms are emerging every where as fitness is starting to be more of a lifestyle that people are changing into. At Weaver’s Fitness and personal training we will use consumer demographics which is statistics that calculate observable aspects of a population; that includes age, size, ethnic group, gender, education, income, family structure and occupation. Consumer demographics are crucial to recognize the best possible customers for a service or good. Consumers of various age groups have varying wants and needs. Members of a generation typically share the same priorities and outlook. For the demographics of the market we will try to concentrate on a big target market of first time or people who are new to fitness and could use the advice of a personal trainer. Also, we will concentrate our marketing on young adults between the ages 18-25 as many young people are into sports and athletics and being with a personal trainer can only help them as they can continue to grow with our trainer’s knowledge of fitness.
